West Coast Customs is an automobile repair shop focusing on the customization of vehicles. It was started by co-founders Ryan Friedlinghaus and Quinton Dodson circa 1994.

We collaborated with Blackbyrd Design on design and apparel development for the legendary West Coast Customs shop. This partnership brought high-quality, custom-printed apparel to life, reflecting the bold and iconic style of the WCC brand.

Apparel Production & Print Development

In collaboration with Blackbyrd Design, we contributed to the screen print production and product development for West Coast Customs, the world-renowned automotive customization brand.

​

Our work focused on translating WCC’s high-energy, street-driven identity into wearable merchandise, blending bold design with quality craftsmanship.

Key contributions included:

  • Screen print production on high-quality garments

  • Development of exclusive West Coast Customs shop apparel

  • Durable, clean prints for daily shop wear and fan merchandise

  • Event-driven and limited-edition product drops

  • Garment sourcing and production consultation

 

From concept to final production, we ensured each piece delivered on both brand impact and lasting wear—true to WCC’s reputation for precision, creativity, and authenticity.

Vectorization 

Transforming original car images into detailed vector artwork for custom apparel and merchandise. Using Adobe Illustrator, each image is carefully recreated with precise outlines, clean shapes, refined details, and stylized effects to capture the vehicle’s unique features and character. The vectorization process prepares artwork for high-quality screen printing, allowing automotive graphics to maintain sharp lines, consistent details, and scalability across T-shirts, hoodies, and other apparel products. From classic cars to custom builds and modern performance vehicles, every design is developed with attention to detail and print production requirements.
